Reynerio "Lance" Lanoy, MD, MPH

Lance is from the province of Bohol in the Philippines. He earned a degree in BS Biology from San Carlos University in Cebu, and his medical degree from Jose P. Rizal College of Medicine of Xavier University in Cagayan De Oro. He conducted his residency on Internal Medicine at the University of the Philippines-Philippine General Hospital. Lance served as Municipal Health Officer-1 in Clarin, Bohol for 2.5 yrs. then moved to Akron General Hospital in Ohio as resident on Internal Medicine. Currently, Lance is a hospitalist in Maine General Medical Center in Augusta.
A. Cristy Alaman, MD
Vice President for Internal Affairs
A.Cristy earned her medical degree from the University of the Philippines-Philippine General Hospital. She did her residency at the Baylor College of Medicine Menninger Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Texas Medical Center in Houston. Arlene is currently a practicing psychiatrist at the Kennebec Behaviorial Health in Central Maine.
Sarah Joy Jordaan, RN
Vice President for External Affairs
Sarah graduated from Kennebec Valley Community College. She is a preceptor and a relief charge nurse at the Emergency Department at Maine General Medical Center, Thayer Campus. Sarah is an instructor of Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advance Life Support, and Basic Life Support, and a recipient of the statewide Healthcare Heroes Award for Excellence in Emergency Medicine.
Brook Harris
Board of Directors, Co-Chair
This former Miss USA contestant was raised in the village of Lee, a small town of just over 900 people in Penobscot County, Maine. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Nursing from the University of Maine Fort Kent with cum laude honors.
Now,a resident of Portland, Brooke has merged her passions for the beauty and healthcare industries by balancing her time as an Aesthetic Nurse in Portland, and as a Maternity and Pediatrics Nurse at MaineGeneral Hospital in Augusta.
Recently, Brooke was voted Co-Chair of the HAND-Philippines Board of Directors. She hopes to improve the lives of her patients through compassionate care. Through this organization she completed her first medical mission trip in May of 2018, providing free healthcare among fellow volunteers to over 1950 patients! She looks forward to continuing the humanitarian work HAND-Philippines unselfishly provides, as it is her belief people must love one another above all else.
Brian Chu
Front End Developer
Brian Chu is a freelance web designer and developer, graphic designer, and an IT technician. Brian has been developing websites since 2016, focusing on modern design and User Experience (UX). He is currently working as an IT technician at the Cross Insurance Arena in Portland, ME. Brian graduated from the University of Southern Maine with a BS in Information Technology.
